Theft from motor vehicle |

We are appealing for information after attempted theft from vehicles on Coates Road. The incident occurred between 23.45 and 00.15 on 29/10/25. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. The CCTV image, although unclear, shows a hooded figure wearing a backpack with a 'Nike swoosh’, riding a pushbike with distinctive tri-spoke wheels. There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property - where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended. We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle. If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 00502_I_29102025. If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org If you ever feel at risk, or a crime is in progress, please always dial 999. For more information please contact me or PC Derya Mustafa on greenhill.snt@westmercia.police.uk Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime. Kind regards, PCSO 40064 Simon Gallagher
